**In this role, you have the opportunity to**


The Zone Business Operations Director (BOD) is responsible to oversee the general efficiency and effectiveness of the zone business; as well as, deliver on the design, execution, and control of operations that convert resources into desired goods and services, and implement the Zone Customer Service business strategy.


**You are responsible for (but not limited to)**


**People Leadership**


+ Lead the Zone Install Manager (ZIM); drive installation process improvement and adherence; and lead the zone support operations resources to provide administrative support; including but not limited to, customer satisfaction, manpower planning/utilization, service work order processing, install base, financial, and operational tasks.

+ Establish a systematic course of performance management for self and team members to assure accomplishment of specific objectives.

+ Effectively recruit, onboard, and integrate new hires into team; as well as, lead and cultivate a culture of Philips behaviors and integrity

+ People Performance Management (PPM): Champion development and retention of top talent; Identify and address poor performance; Coach and develop all direct reports

+ Leverage the capabilities of employees and create a work team environment that fosters common purpose and focuses on job satisfaction, customer focus, and increased productivity.

+ Understand and utilize motivational tools to drive desired team and business results. (examples: Recognition Points, Communication Plans, Special Assignments)


**Operational Management**


+ Drive zone productivity and growth through effective manpower planning/utilization, cross-training plans, processes, and customer satisfaction. Identify gaps and deficiencies and build plans to address.


+ Develop and lead monthly productivity review calls for all regions within the zone.

+ Establish and implement Quality and Regulatory reporting requirements, communications and escalations associate with CAPAs.

+ Conduct Quarterly business reviews with the Zone and Operational leadership teams to report on key strategic results and initiatives.

+ Drive installation process improvement and adherence; and develop business analytics to measure customer satisfaction, manpower planning/utilization, service work order processing, install base, financial and operational business components tied to growth of the Zone.

+ Liaison with the Multi-Vendor Operations Director in support of attaining operational and financial targets.


**Customer Ownership**


+ Lead within a matrixed environment and collaborate with counterparts in other Zones, CCSC, MV Operations, Sales, and BU to optimize zone/business performance.


+ Ensure quality and customer satisfaction standards are achieved.

+ Support zone business strategy and results; develop and implement service strategy to achieve customer loyalty.


**Financial Accountability**


+ Establish strategic and operational programs to attain Customer Service financial, operational, top line growth and customer satisfaction goals to grow and optimize business results. Ownership of service workflow management.

+ Develop plans to exceed performance in Operational KPIs to include - Operating Expense, Material Consumption, On-time Preventive Maintenance, Inventory Accuracy, MTTR, MTBF, Concession Management, and Profitability.

+ Drive margin improvement through key revenue growth programs such as LIFE solutions, time & material, contracts. Drive forecast accuracy.

+ Provide leadership regarding business and sales decisions in support of cost effective, high quality service delivery within the zone.

+ Collaborate with Service Sales and Commercial operations on the development of strategy on large equipment and service RFPs that support zone service growth goals.

+ Lead financial initiatives and productivity projects associated achievement of with AOP and RoFo targets for the Zone.


**To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience**


+ Bachelor's Degree in business - MBA preferred or equivalent work experience.

+ 7+ plus years related experience

+ Field Service management experience strongly preferred.

+ Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to think creatively; 'out of the box'.

+ Effective communication skills including demonstrated stand-up presentation skills, group facilitation

+ Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively in team-based organizations across multiple remote locations/departments with management and individuals of various levels and backgrounds.

+ Project management skills with the ability to facilitate/lead project teams; Results orientation. Capable of making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time and on budget.

+ Advanced PC skills with demonstrated knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

+ Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic and tactical business plans.

+ Ability to work under minimal supervision.

+ Flexible work style and ability to adapt to internal and external customer requirements


+ Excellent time management, organization, analytical, problem solving, and listening skills
