The successful candidate for this position will join a strong team of learning and change management professionals who provide a variety of learning-related services. You'll use performance consultation to analyze requests and recommend appropriate interventions. You may consult with vendor partners for some projects, and develop your own content for others. These can take the form of a facilitated session, a classroom or online course, or a variety of self-directed experiences. There may also be opportunities to participate in change management consultation, depending on your background and interests.

+ Synthesizes concepts from diverse areas such as learning, design, digital communication, visual arts and music to identify and conceptualize creative approaches to developing people

+ Flexible and nimble in adapting to changing circumstances and priorities

+ A true team player who is interested in building on the ideas of others, supporting the team, and having fun.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Consult with HR Business Partners and the HR Talent team to identify development needs across the enterprise, and with individual managers to address development needs within their team or organization.

+ Employ instructional design techniques and adult learning theory to create (or procure) instructional content using a variety of media such as instructor-led, facilitated, web-based, virtual, or self-directed content.

+ Effectively project manage learning initiatives, ensuring the involvement of appropriate partners and completion on time and budget.

+ Build and maintain effective working relationships with HR team members, managers, vendor partners and students.

+ Provide change management consultation and training for teams and projects (potentially, depending on experience and interests)

Basic qualifications:

+ Solid understanding of Instructional Design and adult learning theory

+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

+ Effective presentation, facilitation and influencing skills are critical

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Ability to work at all levels of the organization, providing consultation and coaching to leaders as well as peers and subordinates

+ Strong consultative abilities

+ Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Driven to plan and meet goals and project milestones without compromising work quality

+ Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 3-5+ years in a training, instructional design, and/or content development role

+ Previous experience working cross-functionally

+ Bachelor's Degree or certification in adult education, online learning, instructional design or related areas is preferred.

+ Visual design and/or communication experience is a plus

+ Previous change management experience in the ADKAR model is a plus

+ Experience in online course development using Articulate 360, Captivate and/or Camtasia is a plus
